Privacy
Your links and downloads
XDown has no accounts. We do not store the post links you paste or the media you download. A submitted public link is used only to look up the media for that request; short-lived edge caching may prevent repeated lookups.
Media downloads come directly from X's public servers, and audio extraction and trimming run in your browser. This site does not host, upload, or keep video files. Please do not submit private or sensitive links.
Analytics and cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people use XDown and which pages are useful. It sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and collects the pages you visit, the referring website, your approximate location (country or city), device, browser and language, and how long you stay. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy policy.
We never send the post links you paste to Google Analytics, and we do not use it for advertising or to identify you. XDown shows no ads.
Your choices
Google Analytics only loads after you press Accept in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use a content blocker, or install Google's opt-out add-on. XDown works the same with analytics blocked.
